RSVPs

As I am currently in the throws of wedding planning and finalizing everything, I have a rant I'd like to share. This may not be entirely polite to share on my blog, but hopefully it will be a teaching tool for future wedding goers.

When you receive a wedding invitation that comes with a pre-addressed envelope, why, oh why, do some people not bother to reply at all? I mean, all of the work is done for you. The envelope is addressed and stamped. The reply card (on most) only requires you to write your names(s) and a check mark. It takes maybe 60 seconds to complete this task and then put it in your mail slot for the mailman to come and pick it up, no trip to the post office required. And yet, there are still those who see no reason to respond at all adding one more task to the bride's to-do list.

So people please, don't be that person.
